Digital Strategist

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. On-site.
As the Digital Strategist, you will be contributing to the overall digital strategy, planning, execution, and success of a portfolio of high-value integrated clients of admiral digital.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the interrelationship between strategy, digital marketing channels, technology, and creativity in developing frictionless digital experiences that drive value at all stages of the marketing funnel.

You think both strategically and analytically, using data, insights, and your knowledge of digital marketing to translate business objectives into relevant digital strategies that deliver results for our clients.

You will work closely with the product (UX, UI, and Marketing Technology) and marketing (Performance Marketing, SEO, and Content) teams to ensure delivery and ongoing optimization of committed results, completing project planning, milestone reporting, and KPI reviews. You will actively seek and encourage the product and marketing teams to strive at every opportunity to produce work that delivers first class results for our clients.

Roles & Responsibilities.

  • Design digital experience strategies for clients covering their respective digital marketing channels across web, social media, digital ads, email and more
  • Craft integrated customer journeys across channels, designing strategies to deliver on client objectives and KPIs.
  • Guide product and marketing specialists in the execution of digital strategies and continuously offer suggestions and recommendations for optimisation improvements throughout the lifecycle of a project.
  • Responsible for client and internal team communications.
  • Manage project(s) independently from start to finish, meeting deadlines while maintaining thriving internal and external relationships.
  • Brief teams, lead client squad meetings, ensure actions are clearly articulated and delivered, ensure tasks are clear and project management tools are up-to-date, and ensure weekly client communications are sent.

Requirements.

  • at least 5 years of experience in a digital strategy role with exposure in managing integrated digital solutions (i.e., digital marketing, digital creative, marketing technology)
  • wide knowledge of digital and other content delivery platforms.
  • in-depth understanding of the interrelationship between strategy, digital marketing channels, technology, and creativity.
  • skill in managing project delivery and deadlines, producing results through data, detail-oriented.
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
