Thrive

Connecting performance marketing and ecommerce to support growth.

Thrive is a Belgian alcohol-free beer brand built around active lifestyles. As its direct-to-consumer business developed, it needed marketing and ecommerce to work together—from introducing the products to new audiences to helping customers purchase and return.

Our partnership brought together performance marketing, creative support, ecommerce optimisation and strategic guidance, connecting campaign activity with the customer’s experience on the website.

The priority.

Build a stronger direct-to-consumer business by connecting customer acquisition with the experience that follows.

For Thrive, that meant looking beyond individual campaigns. Media investment, product messaging, promotional offers and the shopping journey all needed to support the same objective: helping more people discover the range, make their first purchase and come back.

Our approach.

We worked closely with Thrive’s team to connect marketing decisions with ecommerce priorities.

Campaign and customer data informed discussions about audiences, budget allocation, creative and offers. Alongside this, website improvements addressed the practical steps between interest and purchase. Regular planning brought these workstreams together around product launches, seasonal campaigns and day-to-day trading.

The work.

Performance marketing across markets.

We managed paid media activity across European markets, adapting campaign structures, audiences and language to support acquisition and remarketing.

Performance analysis helped guide budget allocation and campaign adjustments, with attention to new and returning customers and how advertising contributed to the wider ecommerce business.

An ecommerce experience built around conversion.

Our website work combined UX and UI support with Shopify development and conversion optimisation.

This included improvements to the shopping experience and promotional functionality. Cart-based offers, including automatically applied gifts with purchase, helped make promotions easier for customers to understand and use without additional steps or discount codes.

Creative support connected to campaign objectives.

We contributed advertising concepts, messaging directions and adaptations for paid channels, working with Thrive’s team and its wider creative partners.

The focus was on giving campaigns relevant ways to communicate the products and offers, with different messages and formats supporting discovery, consideration and purchase.

Campaign planning across the customer journey.

We helped align media, offers, website requirements and email activity around key trading moments.

Planning considered how to reach new audiences, engage existing customers and connect promotional messages with the experience on the website. Strategic support also covered acquisition, retention and the relationship between direct sales and Thrive’s wider retail presence.

The result.

Thrive gained a more coordinated approach to direct-to-consumer marketing and ecommerce, with campaign decisions and website improvements supporting shared commercial priorities.

The work brought practical improvements to promotional journeys and a clearer connection between attracting customers and helping them purchase. It also established a process for reviewing performance, testing ideas and prioritising improvements.
