The Graphic Designer works across Admiral Digital and its affiliate or group companies (the “Company”).
You will be part of a fast-growing team working on global and local accounts, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and working in conjunction with the CMO, UX/UI, Content, Copy, and Performance teams.
You are the ‘ever-curious creative explorer’ designing and creating unique, user-centric, innovative, and inspiring creative designs. You have the knowledge and thirst to investigate, innovate, and develop outstanding creative ideas and expert design execution with an emphasis on digital media.
You work according to the creative briefs and your designs show an understanding and relevance to the target audience. You ensure the best creative and design ideas can be achieved within budget, timeframes, and requirements.
Highly organised, efficient, and with exceptional attention to detail, you always strive to deliver first-class results for clients; being both internal and external stakeholders. You perceive working on different clients simultaneously as a challenge, and you always think of solutions instead of problems.
Roles & Responsibilities.
Execution & Optimization
You work in conjunction with the CMO, Content, Design, Copy, PFM and UX/UI teams and collaborate with the various team members of the Company on all creative and design solutions including, but not limited to:
Digital content design (web, ads, social media, email…)
Offline communication materials and advertising layouts
Photography treatment
Basic motion graphics, animation, and video editing
Infographic design
Brand style guides, guidelines, and other brand documents
Sales and other promotional presentations
Creative ideation and conceptualization
Your predominant design execution requirements: ads, email, banners, some offline (i.e. trade show booths), general design tasks such as presentation slides.
You develop creative concepts and deliver a premium creative product
You maximise the creative philosophy and general business standards of the Company.
You understand, interpret and respond to creative briefs, including challenging the brief and promoting new opportunities to ensure the delivery of an accurate creative strategy that delivers results.
You conduct thorough design research based on audience personas, content narratives, campaign objectives, and competitive landscape and present findings clearly.
You adopt a modern and innovative approach to creative design, ensuring the latest trends in design, content and distribution are always top of mind.
You are knowledgeable of AI design tools and, where appropriate, use AI to support the creative process in both execution and conceptualisation. Your use of AI in design is a support for your underlying creative skill, not a replacement.
You create outstanding visual designs to a high-quality standard with a high degree of skill and accuracy.
You ensure consistent design style reflective of the client’s brand is implemented, and all client feedback is addressed in an accurate, creative and timely manner.
You present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap defined as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. colour theory, visual weight, etc.).
You ensure performance data and campaign insights are understood, and creative adaptations are implemented to refine and optimise designs.
You will work with agents and partners of the Company as required to ensure the creative product and brand standards are upheld and executed to the highest quality standards.
Leadership
You are a team player within the creative team and help other team members where needed by sharing past experiences to lift the team as a whole.
Project Management
You manage projects independently from start to finish, meeting deadlines while maintaining thriving internal and external relationships.
You work closely with the Copywriting, Content, PFM, UI/UX teams to address key needs to ensure high quality and quick delivery of committed project results.
You concentrate on multiple projects and clients at the same time.
Client Management
Excellent command of English – this role is expected to be client-facing.
You work and communicate with clients directly where required.
You have a “can-do” attitude and proven ability to work in a team environment.
Requirements.
5+ years of experience.
You have a graphic design background with broad creative experience. Video/animation experience alongside graphic design is a plus.
You have excellent working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud products (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) as the primary tool suite.
You are willing to learn about other creative platforms such as Canva, Visme, and other Adobe Creative Cloud products such as Premier Pro, After Effects, or other creative platforms that may be required.
You have a demonstrated level of experience using AI design tools and utilising AI to support (not replace) your design execution.
You are curious to learn about WordPress development and Elementor website builders, CRM platforms such as ActiveCampaign, and support colleagues with setup where required.
You create design presentations for clients using tools such as Figma, Google Slides, PowerPoint or Keynote.
